Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Blogging has had to take a back seat these past few weeks due to workload both at work and home.............however I really wanted to share this project with you over the festive period and I think I have just about made it in time.................

This is a project that my dear friend Charlie showed my how to make and I loved it so much I made one to sit on my desk at work...... ALL the items are recycled "bits n bobs" nothing crafty wise gets in the bin here!!

And like any house on Christmas morning this is how under the tree will look.....

I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and look forward to catching up with you soon

love and hugs

Gifts using Modern Medley DSP

Today I thought I would share with you the gifts that I made for both my room mates  -  yes I had 4 this year as 5 of us shared an apartment it was  a right giggle

Here I made a box out of a sheet of 12x12 card stock and belly band from the Modern Medley DSP............ filled with lovely goodies inside - a bar of Green & Blacks chocolate, hot chocolate, a pair of socks - to keep their feet warm , some tissues and a convention survival kit.

And my team - it was their first convention and I think that they were overwhelmed my it all..........well they were very quiet on the drive home.

Again I used the Modern Medley DSP and deocrated one of the Stampin' Up! clear mount cases and co ordinating items pens and a note pad.

I think this is one of the only photo's that I managed to get taken with the lovely Charlie

This layout looks complicated but in fact its easy peasy........I've made another 3 one for each of my daughters for their albums.

I'm back off to bed now as I have a stinking cold and just can't seem to shift it so getting some TLC from the other half, be sure to pop  back next week to see other project.

Festive Friday

Today's Festive Friday post, is really early as I'm up and getting ready for the first day of Stampin' Up!s Manchester convention..............Whoop Whoop!!!!

So I am going to share with you one of the two swaps that I made for the occasion........

I made over 50 of this style card fronts to swap with fellow demonstrators from all over Europe and even a couple from the USA who are based on air bases over here.

This swap uses the tree from the Special Season stamp set along with the sentiment, but could easily be substituted for one from the Lovely as a Tree set. I used a mask using the oval framelits before stamping my favourtite background stamp En Francais.

Well I must dash as I need to get to the bathroom before the rest of them wake up...............5 of us in the apartment.

If you would like to order the items used to make this card or any other Stampin' Up! products via my online shop here. or drop me an email. When you do order be sure to use this month's Hostess Code

Festive Friday

Today I'm back to share with you another project that I have made using Season of Style Washi Tape, this time its a Christmas Wreath.

The poinsettia flower is from the Joyful Christmas stamp set which has been stamped in versa mark and embossed in gold and the sentiment is from the Sassy salutations stamp set.

It's so simple to make, on Saturday I taught this to some ladies one of whom had never crafted before and she was thrilled with her end project.

When we made it on Saturday we turned the pegs the opposite way round so that it can act as a card holder as well.

You can order the items used to make this  or any other Stampin' Up! products via my online shop here. or drop me an email. When you do order be sure to use this month's Hostess Code

Introducing the New Envelope Punch Board !!!!

Today I am going to introduce to you the New Envelope Punch Board which is now available to purchase here in the UK.  I have had mine for a week now and love playing with it....As I can now make fabulous envelopes really fast!

It is really easy to use, and included in the design is everything you need, a scoring tool, a measurement guide and even a double sided punch!!

.

I know some of you like to craft in inches while some of you prefer the metric system, don't worry Stampin' Up! have that covered too as you get both. Since all the bits you need, including the instructions, are included on the tool itself you can be sure you are not going to loose them - brilliant for a messy crafter like me.

Your envelope possibilities are endless - there are 66 different sizes of envelopes that you can make and of course you can make them in any colour, pattern or combination of colours and patterns that you want!

But do you know what really impressed me the most?  Was the price - I thought a wonderful bit of kit like this would be more expensive but it is just £17.95! Brilliant!

You can order yours here today.  When you do order be sure to use this month's Hostess Code
SGBTBYZK

as one lucky person who does could win themselves some free Stampin' Up! goodies*.

And that is not all - you can also use your Stampin' Up! Envelope Punch Board to make boxes, tabs and several designs of cards.......That's on  my to do list this weekend.

Festive Friday

For this weeks Festive Friday I'm going to share with you two quick cards using  the Snowflake Soiree stamp set - which happens to be one of the 25 stamp sets with 25% from Stampin' Up!

The snow flakes in this first card are stamped in Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake on Naturals Ivory card stock, which actually makes the Crumb Cake look Golden. I added some pearls to make the snow flakes pop.

For this second card I created a mask using the oval framelits and sponged this with Marina Mist ink. The sentiment here is from the Delightful Dozen stamp set, and for the centers on this card I used some Cherry Dazzling Details.

The beauty of both of these cards are they're post friendly making it even easier on you pocket...........more to spend of crafty goodies :o)

Can't believe that I managed even to get an extra couple of posts on my blog this week especially as I have been flat out at work and doing 3 classes/parties this week.

Here is this weeks Festive Friday cards...... yes I thought I would share two with you this week they feature the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set and embossing powders - Pewter and Gold.

For this first card I have also used the En Francis background stamp, and created a double bow with Crumb Cake and Cherry Cobbler seam binding and fastened it together with an Antique Brad.

For this second card I have stamped in Cherry Cobbler before going over the card again with Pewter embossing powder. I then stamped and embossed the sentiment from the seasonal greetings (carry over) stamp set. The ornament keepsake stamp set and matching framelits are also on the carry over list here I have attached it with some of the new LUSH silver ribbon.

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

Today's Scrapbook layout uses the bright colours found in the Gingham Garden DSP and  coordinating Washi Tape.

Here I used the left overs from the club layouts I did a couple of months ago and added some of the Washi Tape............it's so quick and simple and lifts off really easier if you don't get it on straight first time.

Now all I need to do to this layout is add some photographs and a title....well must dash off to meet up with some fellow demonstrators this afternoon so go to get a few bits done before I go.

Have a great Sunday whatever you get up to..........

Festive Friday

Today's Festive Friday Card is rather late as I seem to be having problems with blogger but as the saying goes better late than never!!

This week I would like to share with you  a new fold that I learn't the other day called the "Double Dutch Card Fold"

Here I have used the Wishing You stamp set, both inside and out. I coloured the parcel stamp using my Stampin write markers before cutting the image out with the new circle framelits.  The paper I have used is from the Season of Style paperstack I think these are great value for money and you get 4 different designs in total (as they are double sided)

And here's a quick picture of the inside stamped.

If you wish to purchase any of the items used to make the above card you can order them through my online shop  here or email me at frankiesuestampin@gmail.com remember to use/quote this months hostess code

Scrapbookin' On Sunday

Yesterday I spent the whole day scrapbookin' and I thoroughly enjoyed my self and when I got home I added the photographs, as being in such a rush to run out the door I left them at home.

After finishing my inspirational layouts for this months club (using the Ventian Romance DSP), I had a little play with the Sweater Weather Designer Series Papers from the Autumn/Winter seasonal catalogue.

I'm really naughty as I haven't scrapped any pictures of my nephew as a baby, he is now 3!!

Well I must dash as I'm off for another play day this time with a fellow demonstrator and great friend Charlie. Have a great day whatever you get up to...........

Festive Friday

Welcome to this weeks Festive Friday, today I am sharing a card that I made using a firm favourite  stamp set of mine Lovely as a Tree.

This stamp set has been around for a wee while now and I love the versatility of it, I have used it for men's birthdays, general best wishes, sympathy cards, thinking of you and of course Christmas cards.

Here I have stamped the Pine tree image in Night of Navy onto Shimmery White card stock, used a mat of Brushed Silver card stock to one side. The sentiment is from the Greetings of the Season stamp set and embossed with Silver embossing powder. I also added a little dazzling details to the tree but unfortunately the photograph doesn't pick it up.

The Greetings of the Season stamp set is on the carryover Christmas List from last years catalogue which can be viewed here.

Remember if you wish to purchase any of the items used to make the above card you can order them through my on line shop here or email me at frankiesuestampin@gmail.com remember to use/quote this months hostess code which is
